§ 20.854. Hypodermic syringes, needles, etc., sale, etc., prohibited.

  • Sec. 47-4. It shall be unlawful for any person to sell, furnish, supply or give away any empty gelatin capsules or hypodermic syringe or needle or other instrument or implement adapted for the use of narcotic or dangerous drugs by subcutaneous injection or intracutaneous injection, or any other manner or method of introduction to any person known to be a non-medical habitual user of narcotic or dangerous drugs.

    For the purpose of this Section, a "non-medical habitual user of narcotic or dangerous drugs" shall mean any person who uses narcotic or dangerous drugs merely to satisfy a craving for such drugs and who does not have a legitimate medical need for narcotic or dangerous drugs.
